Éditions Sceptre Noir (Sceptre Noir Editions) is an independent art-book publisher dedicated to creating and championing exceptional books as art objects. We focus on small-batch, limited-edition art books and encasements.

We handle art direction, book layout & design, production (in-house and outsourced), and publishing, ensuring each edition is a creation born of artistic collaboration, respect for the subject matter, and fine craft.

Working closely with creators, and creating art ourselves, we invest in, and co-fund, art book projects to bring ambitious ideas to life. Our mission is to elevate independent art and expand the range of contemporary artistic expression (and immersion) through beautifully made publications.
